Camino Journeys Ltd
x
is a small, family-owned company based in the attractive seaside town of  Broadstairs in the south-east of England. The Director is Philip Baker.

The company takes its name from the Camino de Santiago, the famous Pilgrims' Way leading from the French Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, a walk of around six weeks - maybe the ultimate in no-flights journeys! Followed by countless pilgrims over the centuries, the Camino symbolises discovery and shared experience, and for most the journey is as important as the destination - perhaps more so.

Destinations visited by Camino customers include Rome, Assisi, Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, La Manga, Benidord, India, Greece, the Holy Land, the Baltic States, Jordan, Egypt, Malta, Poland Sardinia, the Orkney Islands and various other destinations in Britain.

The picture above shows Cabanas and Pontedeume, small towns in Galicia on the 'English Camino de Santiago'. This shorter route has been traditionally followed by pilgrims from Britain since the ninth century, and takes under a week to walk.

Elizabeth Benton I have found Camino excellent to deal with. Any queries that I have had have been dealt with promptly and the attention to detail is much appreciated. I am also impressed by the booklet produced for each traveller. I have been with other companies and Camino matches the best and well surpasses the rest. I am delighted to recommend Camino to anyone.

Chris Samuels I have always found Camino Journeys to be helpful, knowledgeable and efficient in all aspects of the holiday. I return to them again and again, confident that they will help in the preparation of the itinerary and be available to respond to any queries that might crop up.

Dr Peter Sills I have found Camino efficient, knowledgeable and good to work with - very concerned to meet individual needs and not to offer a standard package. The itineraries are nicely produced and informative. Camino can be relied upon.

Michael Weaver The success and expertise of Camino is largely based on Philip Baker's experience - great care over detail and giving value for money.
